The rivers for rafting:
Nepal has many rivers but not all are navigable Therefore hereafter follows a summary of the rivers which we navigate.

Sun Koshi (River of Gold) offers some of the best rafting in the world. This river is one of the favorites for Kayaks as well as rafting. Like Trisuli, the starting point is very easy to reach by road. Trips are possible from 1 to 10 days. The longer trip covers 177 kilometer. The highlights of the trips are ever – changing scenery, small isolated villages, gushing rivers etc.

Itinerary:

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to the river, unpack and lunch, begin river trip early afternoon, steady afternoon with nothing too difficult.

Day 02 : Past 'Meat grinder', and the Tamba Kosi Confluence.

Day 03 : 'Punch and Judy', Likhu khola confluence and maybe as far as 'High Anxiety'.

Day 04 : Past 'High Anxiety', to Hakapur village & rapid. Big day.

Day 05 : Layover day? Little Devisthan beach.

Day 06 : Dudh Kosi confluence, 'Jaws', camp above jungle corridor.

Day 07 : Probably the best, numerous big class 4's in the jungle corridor, 'Rhino rock', 'El Wasto' and others.

Day 08 : Out of the corridor, odd class 3 / 4, 'Big Dipper', could arrive Chatra p.m.

Day 09 : Arrive Chatra, pack, drive to Kathmandu.
